Terms of Sale Full payment, including shipping and handling is required before or upon delivery. No refunds are given once order has been verified. Refund Policy All Sales are final. Due to the nature of our business, we process jobs as soon as we receive them. No refunds are available on orders unless files have not been sent to press and cancellation is requested the same business day. A cancellation fee will apply. File Requirements All images, after being enlarged or reduced for reproduction, will crop approximately 1/16” to 1/8” to allow for bleed. See the Upload/Templetes Page for more details. We cannot process orders that do not meet our file requirements. Turnaround Times Turnaround time begins when we send your order to press. If you request a proof, turnaround begins when we receive approval on the proof. Allow additional business days for delivery based on the shipping method you selected. Business days are Monday through Friday. Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays are not calculated into the turnaround time. Please note that if we are unable to print your files because they do not meet our file requirements, your job status will be put “On Hold-Need Artwork” and your turnaround time will be reset. For jobs that do not have complete digital source files, and need to be designed, turnaround will begin when we have an approval to print, not from when the order is first submitted. Key Element Services, Inc. assumes no responsibility for delays caused by delivery carriers or any damages resulting from the failure to receive a job on time. Our expected delivery date is not guaranteed. Your order may arrive late due to unforeseen delays in delivery service, the breakdown of equipment, illness, etc. Changing Files Once Sent to Press Once a job has been “sent to press” from Key Element Services, Inc., no changes are allowed to the artwork, job characteristics, or turnaround time. If the order has not yet gone to press, the sole remedy available is to cancel the order, pay the cancellation fee and place a new order. Cancellation fees may vary. Complaints All complaints must be registered within 24 hours of receipt of job. Should the job contain manufacturing errors and/or defects, we would rerun the job at no charge. We maintain the right to judge what a manufacturing error and defect is. Proofs and Color You will receive an online proof within 24-48 hours in most cases. You are 100% responsible for the accuracy of your layouts. Please proof read all layouts carefully. As postal regulations are subject to change, you are also 100% responsible for complying with current mailing restrictions for postcard backside layouts. Check with your local Post Office. Key Element Services , Inc. will reproduce color from submitted transparencies, slides, photos, or digital layouts as closely as possible, but cannot exactly match color and density because of limitations in the printing process, as well as neighboring image ink requirements. The accuracy of color reproduction from digital files is not guaranteed. We accept no responsibility for color variations between submitted images and the actual artwork or product they represent. Sales Tax All Texas orders are subject to sales tax. If customer is tax exempt, exemption certificate must be sent or faxed to us with the first order. RGB-to-CMYK conversion of your images You will have more control over your printed job if you convert all of the images from RGB to CMYK before sending them to us. When we receive RGB images, we do our best to convert them to CMYK, which may not be to your liking. We want you to be happy with your print job, so please, take the time to prepare your file properly. We will not be responsible for any imperfections due to your images being sent in RGB. Even though monitors always use RGB to display colors, the colors will more closely match the final printed piece if you are viewing them in CMYK. Order Refusal & Violation of Copyright Key Element Services , Inc. reserves the right to refuse to print anything improper or known to be illegal. Key Element Services, Inc. is not liable for any damages resulting from violation of copyright laws or illegal use of trade names, slogans, photographs, graphics, original artwork or any creative work provided by the client to Key Element Services, Inc. The customer guarantees and is fully responsible for the legal title of all materials submitted to Key Element Services, Inc. for printing, design, web publishing or any other services that we may provide. Quantity Finished quantity may vary +/- 10%. We are not responsible for shortage re-print. This applies to all printing. Changes to Policies Key Element Services, Inc. may change, modify, add or remove portions of this policy at any time, and they will be effective immediately upon being posted.
